On the eve of its 2006 Fall Invitational Conference, ACAHO will present its highest award – The ACAHO-Flexner Award in Health Policy – to Senator Michael Kirby, for his dynamic leadership and keen insight on a range of national health policy issues.
ACAHO released a report entitled “A View from the Top: A Survey of ACAHO Presidents and CEOs”. This inaugural report surveys members on a range of national health policy issues and challenges.
ACAHO reports that members are actively pursuing a number of public health initiatives, including strategies to address infectious diseases and emergency preparedness planning.
