The mission of ACAHO is to advance and promote excellence in the delivery of high-quality health services, in the teaching and educational experience of healthcare professionals, and in the health research and innovation enterprise.


OUR MANDATE... 

The mandate of ACAHO is to provide effective national leadership, advocacy, and policy representation in the following three related areas of:

• Funding, organization, management and delivery of highly specialized tertiary and quaternary, as well as primary health care services.

• Education and training of the next generation of Canada’s health care professionals.

• Infrastructure to support and conduct basic and applied health research, medical discovery, innovation and commercialization.
