In ACAHO-member organizations, which are first and foremost patient care organizations, vibrant research enterprises involve patients and families in life-saving research and innovation.

What type of research happens in academic healthcare organizations? This was the topic of the May 6, 2010 CIHR-ACAHO Cafe Scientifique on Patient Involvement in Health Research. In this set of video clips you'll hear about:
