Canada’s Forum on Patient Safety and Quality Improvement: Westin Harbour Castle, April 28-30, 2009, Toronto, ON
With the increasing national and international focus on patient safety, the need for a broad forum for learning has been identified. Canada's Forum on Patient Safety and Quality Improvement will provide multiple learning streams with a national and international flavour. The program for the forum will provide opportunity for a variety of professionals to participate, including, but not limited to, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, health care providers, educators, leaders, researchers, and board members.
A few of the exciting speakers you will see at this event are:
- Helen Bevan, Director of Service Transformation, NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement;
- Lise Mathieu, Retired Major General, Canadian Forces; Commander of the Canadian Forces Health System;
- Dr. Bryan Sexton, Ph.D., M.A., Assistant Professor Department Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at The John's Hopkins School of Medicine;
- Sarah Fraser, President, Sarah Fraser and Associates Limited;
- Dr. Brian Goldman, E.R. Physician Mount Sinai & CBC radio host of White Coat, Black Art.
